Hyundai entered the United States auto market in 1986. In 2004 Hyundai tied with Honda in a survey of initial quality by J.D. Power and Associates. Hyundai builds a variety of vehicles, from affordable commuter cars such as the Accent, attractive luxury sedans, sporty performance coupes, as well as several four wheel drive sport-utility models. Even though Hyundai vehicles now have an excellent quality rating, they still offer an outstanding warranty: 5 years/60k miles bumper to bumper, and 10 years/100k miles powertrain.
